Need some quick advice...
by sassafras inmy biweekly jdub visit is coming up here in a few hours, and i could use a bit of advice.... the lady knows i am a big time doubter, but she has some sort of personal mission to get my husband back into the truth (it makes me sick to write that) and get me in as well.
she comes by at the exact same time every two weeks to drop of the new wts, reads some scripture, asks how i'm doing, blah blah blah.. i'm pretty polite to her, but i'm ready to kick it up a notch.
any suggestions for something i could start with?

It does not matter if past animails had sharp teeth or not. Today man eats meat with molars, and tigers eat meat with sharp teeth. If dinosours have been dug up with sharp teeth or molars, it does not matter how their teeth were as long as they could eat the "vegetation of the earth". How about deep sea creatures such as certern fishes where they dont have teeth at all, and yet they live. There is plantlife in deep oceans that classify as a living creature, and yet they dont even have a mouth! Yet all has been created "according to its kind". Noah brought two of each animal and seven of each kind- clean and unclean animails and creatures into the Ark. Therefore it would be impossable to carry EVERY species of animial or mammel ect into the ark. It has been suggested that the elephant was brought into the ark as it was one of the SMALLEST of the dinosaur family- due to the height of the Ark. And here is one thought, maby God will create new T-rexs and raptures in his new order of things- wouldent that be something!! So, all those who believe in Jehovahs new order of things, keep on believing! Of course, that they will be domesticated and not ferocious as evolutionists claim that they were. Keith

I got some old bibles from Ebay which says that John 1;1 states that "the Word was God". However, v 1 also states that "the word was "with God". Also in v 34 says that this is the "son of God".Seeing that man was made in "Gods image", there is a relationship between Father and Son. The Holy Spirit is an active force than can do things that man cannot do, like raise persons from the dead, or cause the Red Sea to part in Moses time. So, brace yourselves to the TRUE explantion of John 1:1. Since John1:1 was first written, emperer Constintine at one stage of his life started blending pagen rituals with true christanity. And in time, John 1;1 was used to imply that there are three entities which were the same entity. This teaching was handed down for many a years.So everyone belived in the 3 in 1 god. And when the WT read it they decided to change John1:1 to say "was a god"- which they should of not have done. What John 1:1 really ment was God was origanaly called "The Word" before he made his "only begotten son". When he created his "only begotten son", He named him after himself and called him "the Word". Seeing that it could be confusing to have two "the Word"s for the heavens and earth, the Creater changed His name to "God". As we know later that when the Isrealites wanted a name for their God, his name change again to Yahwah or Jehovah. When the "Word" came to earth as a human, his name changed again to "Jesus". And when Jesus acended to the heavenly places, he has been called Michael and other names. So, John 1:1 says " In the beginning WAS the Word, and the Word WAS with God, and the Word WAS God." Apparently, the mixed pagen and christain decided to give the last word "God" a capital "G" instead of a small "g" through translations. All those beliving in the Trinity automatically gives a contridition of the complete John1. Even verse 29 states Jesus as the "Lamb of God". It will also suggest that if he was God that came in the "flesh", each time he prayed was he actually talking to himself. if he did this, he would of been branded as a madman. So, christendom should have not use John 1:1 to support a Trinity, and the WT should have not changed John 1:1 at all.Keith.

Not to worry about for now. I knew of a sister who never had a date when i was in the same congregation as her for many years. She did find a really good brother to marry and now has 2 children and very happy. One day you will find the right person in time. Keith

If you prefer not to have them,tell them. If they dont listen to you, go to the kingdom hall and tell their elders in the congregation that you do not want them. But tell the elders calmly and nicely. There is no need to start friction between family members.The Elders, to whom may not know you, will have a word with them, perhaps not to waste spritual food when you are going to dispose of it in some way after you have recived them. This is only a suggestion. keith

Hi to all! All what people can do weither they are in the faith or not is to look it up. Everyone has a libuary or an encyclopedia at home or in a local shop. The internet is also very helpful. They all say the same thing, 587bc or 586bc.The reason for the two dates is that the have been taken from the busness cuniform tablets of the time. No one can argue with history. And all these publications cant be wrong or apostate. I just visited my mum, who is very knowladgable and in the faith, and when i mentioned to her about the 587-586bc date, she has phoned me and doing her own investgation-which is good. For 1 John 4:1, 5+6 does say not to believe every inspired utterence but to test them out to see if they are from God.All the best to all, Keith

Sorry for not replying back sooner! I have been so busy with my Bible knowladge i just got carried away. Now to the answer for the question. Well, Rev 7:14 does say that these people do come OUT of the Great Tribulation, so seeing that the great Tribulation has not come yet, no one today can say that they are the great Crowd. I got some older bibles off of Ebay as early as 1803, and in them it states not Great Crowd but great multitude comming out of the Great Tribulation.Which does lead to another question. According to scripture,does anyone know when the Great Tribulation will be here?
